Unlike past years, the worst dressed at the 2014 Grammys didn't come in eggs or gowns that make modest men blush.

Country's worst dressed on the red carpet just sort of fizzled, like fireworks that lose their spark. With the exception of one dress, country's misfires stayed far from offensive. Check out our picks before checking out the best dressed.

Willie Nelson

Willie Nelson doesn't walk many red carpets, and it shows. OK, we feel a little bad adding Nelson to our list of worst dressed, but the black-on-black look only works for Johnny Cash and Lorde. This is the legend's classic onstage ensemble, but usually he has a red, white and blue guitar sash to add a burst of color to his appearance. He was a cowboy hat away from being mistaken for a stagehand.

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton

In all fairness, nothing about either of these outfits is uniquely offensive -- although Blake's blue jeans feel out of place. The country stars took most of their red carpet photos as a couple, which is cute. But it would have been cuter if they would have checked in to see what the other was wearing. They look ordinary, which is a little disappointing.

Kacey Musgraves

She makes our the Best Dressed list and Worst Dressed list because opinions on this pink Christmas tree dress were strong and at polar opposites. The enormous bow that covers her chest is hidden in this picture, but when she walked the carpet to accept her Best Country Song Grammy, it was clear how uncomfortable she was in this gown.
