Pops Concert

The San Angelo Symphony’s 26^th anniversary of the July 3rd Pops Concert - presented by Multi-Chem - will take place Wednesday, July 3rd at the Bill Aylor Sr. Memorial RiverStage. The gates open at noon; the Community Band will begin at 7 p.m., followed by the San Angelo Symphony and Fireworks Extravaganza sponsored by Mayfield Paper Company at 8:30p.

The July 3rd Pops Concert features military pageantry from Goodfellow Air Force Base, and symphonic songs of celebration performed by Maestro Hector Guzman and the San Angelo Symphony. For more information, contact the Symphony office at 325-658-5877 or visit www.sanangelosymphony.org.

Hero's Music Fest

The Hero's Music Fest in Eden will be on July 4th in Eden! Gates open at noon and there's a 4th of July parade beginning at 12:15. Craft booths at the Green Apple open at 1:15, and there's also great food for sale. Music starts at 2 p.m. with Bo Brumble, Aaron Kothmann, Gary P. Nunn at 5 p.m., The Rankin Twins at 6 p.m., Jason Boland & The Stragglers at 8, fireworks at 9:30 and Reckless Kelly hits the stage at 10!

Christoval VFD Firecracker 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run & Walk

Time Clock Plus & Woodmen of the World Present the Christoval VFD Firecracker 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run & Walk along with the Annual 4th of July Barbeque from 11-2.

Registration for the run will be from 7:30-8:15 at the Christoval Park. Your registration fee includes lunch. Register online now at http://secure.getmeregistered.com/ChristovalFirecracker5K or call Chad Hirt at 325-277-0442. There's a free t-shirt for the 1st 100 to register.

CVFD Barbeque

The CVFD Annual Barbeque features brisket and pork with all the trimmings. Plates and meat by the pound will be available to go as well at the Christoval Community Center. There will be a raffles for a flat screen TV, JL Mercer Handmade Boots and an IPAD.
