Americana Music Awards
The 2014 Americana Honors & Awards nominees were announced earlier this week. The awards will take place at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on September 17th. And don't expect to see fancy light shows, fireworks or flying motorcycles like you might see at the CMA Awards. The Americana Honors & Awards are about music and not image. Jason Isbell, who recently picked up "Songwriter of the Year" at the Lone Star Music Awards, is up for 3 awards.
