By far, drinking enought water is one of the most important and yet easiest habits to implement.

Water is a vital substance for a healthy body and mind.  It is a critical component in maintaining your body's chemistry.  It is good for your skin, your digestive and circulatory systems.

If you feel fatigued during the day, it's often because you aren't hydrated properly.  Even mild dehydration can slow our metabolism.  Our body's cry for water can be mistaken for hunger leading to overeating.  You can see why re-hydration can support weight loss.

Simply drinking enough water on a daily basis can have a profound effect on your life.  It relieves fatigue, hunger, headaches and helps fight against flu and other ailments.  Water flushes toxins out of vital organs.  It can reduce the risk of diabetes, kidney stones, high blood pressure, colitis, migraines, arthritis, heartburn, back pain and cancer.

If you don't care for the taste of water because you think it is bland, add a lice of lemon, lime, cucumber or fresh herbs like mint, rosemary or basil.  You may find it more enjoyable to drink.

How much water should you drink each day?
