Jon Wolfe – Artist of the Week

If you love your traditional country with an edge, then Jon Wolfe is your kind of performer and he is coming to Midnight Rodeo this Friday night, August 21st.

I have had the opportunity to bring him on stage and watch his live performance several times at Midnight Rodeo and he always puts on an outstanding show!

His writing is top notch and so are his vocals. Not surprising, he has written with some of the best in the business from Texas to Music Row. He has shared the stage with many great artist like Merle Haggard, Dwight Yoakam, Asleep at the Wheel, and many more.

Based out of the Austin/San Marcos area, I love that he is close enough to come up here from time to time and perform in San Angelo. Jon has toured all over the country and has numerous chart topping Texas Music singles to his credit, the latest of which is called 'Smile On Mine' from his recent album 'Natural Man'. He has a new single working its way up the charts right now called 'Don't It Feel Good'.

Jon wouldn't say this because he is a humble kind of guy but many have said that Jon Wolfe reminds them of a young George Strait. I certainly see it and I want you to come out to the show and see if you agree.
