Kickin’ Artist of The Week – Rob Baird

My job requires me to surround myself with great music and artist daily. For this, I love my job! I have decided every Monday to hit you with an artist of the week. This will help you get to know more about the music and artist we play daily. This week, I'm starting with one of my favorites, Rob Baird.

Rob Baird is a 25-year-old artist from Memphis, Tennessee. He started writing music while still in high school. His first album came out when he was only 21 years old. Since then, he has released another album with one on the way. He describes his first album "Completely Buried" as just songs. He didn't put any emotion into this album. It was just songs he wanted to sing, not anything he genuinely cared about.  His next album "Blue Eyed Angel" came out in 2010 and this is what he calls his debut album. All songs written on this album were wrote with emotions and personal experiences.  I am really looking forward to his new album being released on May 22nd! We always get his songs first, always get interviews, and we love hanging out with him when he comes to town! Overall, he is a great artist and a great person. :)
