Angelo State University’s University Center Program Council (UCPC) will host an evening of poetry performances featuring Austin-based poet Lacey Roop on Thursday, Dec. 5, in the ASU Auditorium inside the Mayer Administration Building, 2601 W. Avenue N.
The latest installment of UCPC’s Angelo Speaks program, the event featuring Roop will begin at 7 p.m. and is open free to the public.  Its open mic format will also include poetry readings by students from ASU’s Performance Studies course and Studio One student performance group.  Some of the content may be inappropriate for children.
