The 17th Annual Bowen Golf Classic and Concert is this Sunday and Monday, May 31st and June 1st, in Waco, Wade's hometown. Wade Bowen has raised millions of dollars for charity over the years through his golf classic with the help of a lot of his friends on the Texas/Red Dirt scene. This year a portion of the proceeds will benefit Avance and the Boys and Girls Club in Waco.

Some of the folks helping Wade Bowen raise money for charities this year are Kevin Fowler, Cory Morrow, Stoney LaRue, Dirty River Boys, Sean McConnell, Sam Riggs, and even Ted Nugent will be making an appearance. Plus, a surprise duo who I'm told has had multiple hits on the country and pop charts. It's been kept ultra secret, so I have no idea who it could possibly be.

The concert is open to the public, and  are $20 in advance and $25 the day of. Best part is, it's all for charity. You can get your tickets online here, and also don't forget to check out that VIP package they've got going on.
