Budweiser is and has been for many years, a very recognized and respected name among beer companies. It may surprise you to hear that they are changing their name....
The news is that the now Belgian-owned company will no longer use the Budweiser name....at least for a while. The company has announced that they will rename their beer “America” for the coming summer season as a tribute to the country and its culture.

The new name is a part of the company’s “America is in Your Hands” campaign, which also includes events nationwide.

According to a press release, the new can design that will coincide with the beer’s renaming will feature quotes from “The Star-Spangled Banner,” “America the Beautiful” and the Pledge of Allegiance.

If you are a true Budweiser drinker, rest easy in knowing that your beer will once again feature the company’s familiar name and logo at the end of the summer season.

You will start  finding Budweiser with this special edition packaging on store shelves beginning May 23rd.
