Starting today the City will be airing new programs on the projects that are going on around the city, the first one you will find is "Inroads:Paving the Way". This video focuses on the new and improved methods of road paving and the benefits that are to come from it.

On Monday you can catch the new program “theCITY”  at 6 a.m., 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily through Nov. 12. The program will feature Planning Manager AJ Fawver speaking about development at Lake Nasworthy, as well as Community and Economic Development Director Shawn Lewis talking about downtown development and issues.

There will be three programs with retired Extension horticulturist John Benaud where he will help you learn about watering landscapes and trees.

 Earlier this week, a special on the grand reopening of City Hall and the Community Development Building following their $11.2 million renovation began airing on Suddenlink cable Channel 17. The program features performances by the Lake View High School band and the Twin Mountain Tonesmen, by Angelo Civic Theatre and San Angelo Civic Ballet performers, and by local musicians. City Councilman Fredd Adams and Mayor Alvin New also deliver speeches on the steps of the 84-year-old City Hall.
