City Fire Marshals Make Arrest In Visitor Center Fire This Weekend

The City of San Angelo Fire Marshals Office makes an arrest this weekend for the fire at the Visitors Center.

City Fire Marshal's placed a juvenile in custody on Thursday for a connection with a fire at the San Angelo Visitors Center on October 15th. The juvenile was recognized on survellence tape from the visitors center for being on probation for arson in December of 2011.

The suspect was taken into custody for interviewing and is being held at the Tom Green County Juvenile Jusitce Center for 10 days while the case is pending.

City Fire Marshal Ross Coleman commented on the crimes saying:

“Juveniles setting fires is a problem across the state of Texas,”... “It’s important to start holding these kids responsible so we can reduce and eventually eliminate this problem in San Angelo.”
