City of Robert Lee Under Boil Water Notice

The City of Robert Lee has issued a Boil Water Notice find more details inside the story!

Due to reduced water pressure resulting from a water main break the City of Robert Lee and those on the water distribution lines from the Robert Lee Water Plant are required to boil their water before consumption. The process of boiling water ensures that all harmful bacteria and other microbes are destructed, this procedure should be done if you are planning to drink, cook or make ice.

To ensure proper destruction water should be brought to a rigorous boil and be boiled for 2 minuets and then cooled before use. Alternatives to boiling water are purchasing bottled water or obtaining water from another suitable source.
