San Angelo Health Foundation contributed $100,000 to the City of San Angelo for a helping hand on some roofing!

The Health Foundation announced that the City is one of six third quarter finalist that will be recieving a grant. The $100,000 will be matched by the City of San Angelo's Neighborhood and Family Services Department applied for the grant and will also get a matching $100,000 from the San Angelo Development Corp..

The $200,000 will be used to improve the roofs on homes of low to moderate income owners as defined by the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development annual income limits. The homes receiving the roof repairs are located in the Blackshear, Fort Concho, Reagan, and Rio Vista neighborhoods which coordinates with the City's targeted areas for revitalization.
