Darrell Royal Stadium Has A New Attraction

Willie Nelson’s memorabilia is on display there. The new “Willie Nelson, Texas Icon” exhibit opened November 7^th in the north end plaza with Willie as guest of honor.

Willie donated major portions of his collection of correspondence, manuscripts, records, Photos, posters, and other historical items and awards to the Briscoe Center back in May.  Many of the gifts Willie has been given by fans will now be on display as well.  

The collection also includes letters and photographs from musicians including Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton,  Kris Kristofferson and Merle Haggard.

The exhibit is open most days, but check times before you go.
