Dix Hat Band – Blaine’s Pub

The Clint Levi Band was scheduled to play Blaine's Friday night but due to an illness there will be a different band rockin' out the stage.  Dix Hat Band will be taking their spot and also making their Blaine's Pub debut.

Lubbock based Dix Hat Band recently played Stillwater Bar & Grill and Party Ranch and they obviously made an impression.  They return yet again for a Blaine's Pub debut Friday night and you won't want to miss this show.  I had them in studio about two weeks ago and they are the real deal and very unique.  The lead singer doubles as their fiddle/mandolin player, that's the first time I've seen that.  The music is so legit that after the interview they were contacted to play a private show here in town.  They've mixed folk, country and rock together to create a great sound that will leave you wanting more.  They also have some pretty dang funny stories and like to party it up so bring those party pants.  You've probably heard the song Mistakes from their EP Cliff Dance on Kickin' Country but if you haven't check it out below.  There isn't anybody in the band named Dix Hat as they got the band name from an old cowboy saying, ask them about it.  Friday night be at Blaine's Pub for great music and a fun time.
