Saturday, April 4th
Texas Largest Easter Egg Hunt-Texas Bank Sports Complex, East Concho &
Bell St. from 11 until 2. Sponsored by Goodfellow, Sheriff's Department and SAPD.
Bounce Houses and inflatables open at 11, at Noon there's the Annual Helicopter Drop of Candy Eggs. The giant egg hunt with 150,000 eggs begins at 12:15 and lots of door prizes of TVs, bikes, and more begins at 1pm. Everyone can enjoy hot dogs, bottled water and kettle corn. Everything is free! First Baptist Church's Easter Egg Hunt - Firefighter's Memorial City Park, 9:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. The little kids will be hunting first just to make sure everyone gets to participate and have fun. There will be hot dogs served while the hunting commences!

Lake View United Methodist Church Children's Easter Egg Hunt - Northwood Hills Park (Fretz Park), 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. This event is open to all. Lunch including hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided.

The San Angelo Nature Center will be celebrating Easter with a special egg hunt with animals and candy this Saturday from 1-4.
The "egg-stravaganza" starts off with eggs being hidden in the center's natural environments. There's also a small petting zoo, photo stations (hint: parents need to bring your cameras).

The Nature Center is at 7409 Knickerbocker Road. Admission for Nature Center members is $1.00 per person. For non-members it's $1.00 for ages 1-3, $3.00 for ages 4-12, and $4.00 for ages 13 & up.

Sunday April 5th 

Community Easter Sunrise Service - Fairmount Cemetery, 1120 W. Avenue N, 7:00 a.m. Everyone is invited to this service at the St. Francis Statue. First Baptist Church - Church Outside the Walls ~ Easter Celebration, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the McNease Convention Center, 500 Rio Concho Drive. The doors at the Convention Center open at 9 am for a continental breakfast and a time of fellowship. There will be activities for children and students at 9:30.The Easter Worship Service begins at 10:30 am. The service will feature a special interview with Bob Knox of Rust Street Ministries. Childcare will be available for birth through age 4.
