Gary P. Nunn, one of the true original pioneers of the Texas music scene going all the way back to Jerry Jeff Walker, Ray Wiley Hubbard, Rusty Weir, Asleep at The Wheel, and others that inspired a new generation of Texas/Red Dirt music artists, is back in the Concho Valley tonight! You can catch in downtown San Angelo at Blaine's Pub.

Kickin' Country 103.1's Kory King once asked Gary back stage at a concert, what the 'P." in Gary P. Nunn stands for and Gary's response was 'Party'! So you know Gary likes to party. That's why he is one of the greats and he continues to pack venues where ever he goes. Former Texas governor Rick Perry proclaimed Gary P. Nunn as the 'Official Ambassador of Texas Music' and there is no doubt he is very deserving of that title. He started his professional career in 1972 and along the way in the 70's, he played bass for Jerry Jeff Walker's Lost Gonzo Band. He still continues to record new material and plays countless dates on the road and is still 'Taking Texas To The Country'.

So tell us Concho Valley if you plan on being at Blaine's tonight to see the legend that is Gary P. Nunn. Sound off in the below comment section and let us know. We always love to hear from you.
