For the third time in eight years, funny man George Lopez is coming to San Angelo.

George Lopez will be live at the Murphey Performance Hall, Saturday, April 7th.

I can only assume it's because he enjoys coming and sells a lot of tickets. In return, we buy lots of tickets and we give him a warm reception.

Many of you know Lopez from his family-friendly ABC-TV sitcom.  Although The George Lopez Show was canceled by ABC in 2007, it has lived on very successfully. It's one of Nick at Nite's highest-rated sitcoms of all time. This is where my warning comes in.

I loved The George Lopez Show and so did my kids. But if you come to see George Lopez live in San Angelo, do not  -- I repeat, DO NOT -- come to this show expecting to see a family-friendly show.

Lopez's live set is for adults only.  It's very funny, but NOT something you bring the kids or sensitive adults to see. So find a sitter, go out to dinner first, and come to the show.

Tickets and details can be found here. The Murphey Performance Hall is located at 72 W College Ave.
