George Strait Tickets Go On Sale For RodeoHouston

If you haven't heard by now, George Strait is playing RodeoHouston on March 20th, 2022 at 7:00 pm and tickets are about to go on sale!

RodeoHouston announced Wednesday that tickets for George Strait's March 20, 2022 performance go on sale Thursday, June 24. We'll tell you how to get your tickets along with ticket prices.

The Houston Rodeo Association actually added a day to this year's rodeo season to bring you this George Strait concert only event on March 20 to wrap up the rodeo's 90th anniversary season. It is all George Strait in concert...there is no rodeo performance that day. Perhaps this is RodeoHouston's way of offering their fans a special treat since COVID-19 caused them to cancel their rodeo this year.

This will be George Strait's 31st RodeoHouston performance and you know that tickets will go super fast so we wanted to give you the information you will need to get your tickets! On June 24th, fans will be able to get in a waiting room through AXS Ticketing on rodeohouston.com starting at 9:30 am. Then, fans will be randomly selected to purchase tickets starting at 10 am.

Opening for Strait's performance will be special guest 2019 ACM New Female Artist and CMA New Artist of the Year Ashley McBryde.

Ticket prices start at $50, plus a $4 per ticket convenience fee.

Upper Level: $50-$75
Loge Level: $89-$119
Club Level: $189-$229
Field Level: $179-$209
Action Seats: $279
Floor: $279-$459

Ticket purchases are limited to four per person.

After earlier having mentioned that this will be Strait's 31st RodeoHouston Performance, you may be wondering when he first played RodeoHouston. That would be all the way back in 1983 and over his numerous performances there, he has entertained more than 1.7 million fans during the Houston Rodeo.

Pretty impressive....but then again we're talking about King George Strait!
