Goodfellow Army Capitan Speeks About Buffalo Soldiers

Goodfellow Army Capitan Lakeshia Logan will be the guest speaker for Buffalo Soldier Heritage Day.

Make your way to the Commissary Building at Henry O. Flipper and Burgess Street for a free event that will celebrate the famed black troops of the western frontier. The event will be from 2-4pm on Sunday Feb. 24th and admission is free.

Aside from the wonderful guest speaker there will be the Praise Dancers of Galilee Baptist Church providing musical entertainment. There will be displays of uniforms and equipment reflecting the soldiers of the 1870's.
