Granger Smith Explains Just What ‘Backroad Song’ Is About + New EP

Granger Smith is constantly on the road, creating great music, and he was bound to create a song about it eventually. The number one track, 'Backroad Song', is explained in the above Facebook post by Granger.

Backroads aren't just a Texas thing as Smith points out. Granger eloquently explains when he says that no matter where he goes, there is some sort of backroad while he is out touring, coast to coast. As a born and bred Texan, I have so many memories associated with backroads, from riding in the back of the truck going from lease to lease or simply bumping around the ranch with my parents. When I hear this song, all the memories come flooding back along with smells and tastes and the happy blur of my childhood.
