Habitat For Humanity has Several Events Coming Up

I visited with Vanessa Simon, Office Manager for San Angelo's Habitat this morning on the 'Kickin' Wake-Up Call' to talk about several events and activities they have for you soon......

Vanessa said their 'ReStore' is being held on Saturday, March 12th and is a great opportunity to pick up new, used, and excess building materials at great savings. She explained how it will work as well as the hours it is being held.

She also talked about their 'Bunny Run' on Saturday, March 19th with a 1 Mile, 5K, and 10K Road Race. Vanessa said their are plenty of family fun activities like crafts, games, face painting and more.

She also touched on the 10th annual 'Tool Box Bash' which will be held Saturday, April 30th.

I also ask Vanessa where the money raised goes and to bring us up to date on how many homes our local Habitat For Humanity has built.
