One of the most respected songwriters (ask Waylon when you get to Heaven) in country music made his network television debut last night.

Of course, we're talking about Billy Joe Shaver who debuted his song "Hard To Be An Outlaw" with Willie Nelson last night on David Letterman.

If you've been listening to Kickin' Country 103.1, this song is no stranger to you.  Despite the fact Billy Joe has been an icon (along with Willie) for many years, this song is found nowhere on the Texas Music Chart and we don't know why.

Can someone please explain that?
