I’m Looking Forward To A Fun Weekend

There are many events going on this weekend in good ole San Angelo.  I've decided what my plans are, what about you?

There is a lot going on this weekend and I've decided what I'll take part in.  First off, Clayton Gardner is at Blaine's Pub Friday night and I can't miss that show.  Clayton has been playing on the Blaine's stage for quite some time but it really picked up with the release of music to radio.  His first tune I Won't Settle Down did great on the charts and with the release of Happy Ending he's showing no signs of slowing down.  Great writing, musicianship and vocals will make Blaine's the place to be on Friday night.

After sleeping on Friday night comes round two with more fun times.  The Monster X Monster Truck Rally is at the McNease Convention Center Saturday and the pits open at 6:00pm.  Myself and a couple friends are going to see the demolition of scrap cars and roaring of the high output motors.  This will be my friends first time but it's not my first rodeo.  I'll be honest, it's the best people watching I've ever been around.  Also, I am from Arkansas so it's in my blood to watch giant trucks destroy cars and get air.  After Monster Trucks comes Stoney LaRue at Midnight Rodeo.  Stoney always puts on a heck of a show and has had hit after hit.  Being a very well known name in the Texas/Red Dirt scene, you know it'll be a great time.  I'm actually going to make a twofor Saturday night eventually making my way to Blaine's Pub to catch the Zack Walther Band.  I haven't seen these guys since Nam and that's been way too long.  I've been a fan of Zack Walther since the first time I heard the music.  Last time he was scheduled for Blaine's there was an emergency and didn't make it.  I'm looking forward to a busy yet fun filled Saturday night.  I hope to see you out and about.
