Jack Ingram released his new album 'Midnight Motel' last Friday and on the album, you'll find a tribute to a late San Angelo bar owner.

Track number 4 on the album is a song called "Blaine's Ferris Wheel". The song is about Blaine Martin who often booked Jack at his pub in downtown San Angelo famously known as Blaine's Pub.

The story behind the song refers to a time when Martin offered $10 Ferris wheel rides as community service with all the proceeds supporting a local food bank. Legend has it that Martin rode the ride so long that he holds the Guinness World Record for longest continual Ferris wheel ride.

Jack also shares some other stories about Blaine and himself in the song. Click on the above YouTube video to listen to the song and tell us Concho Valley what you think of it. And if you have any Blaine's Pub or Blaine Martin stories, let us know those, too. Sound off in the below comment section.
