Kickin’ Artist of The Week – Mike Ryan

Mike Ryan is a very talented singer/songwriter who will be in our neighborhood this Friday Night Playing Midnight Rodeo.

Mike has recorded three albums to date. His debut was called "The First One' , released in 2010 which he followed up with 'Night Comes Falling' in 2012. Mike enjoyed success from both of these projects, but not at the level he is receiving on his third and current album called 'Bad Reputation' which has already produced three #1 singles since it's release in August of 2014.

The first single off 'Bad Reputation' to go to number one was 'Dancing All Around It', followed by 'Wasting No More Whiskey'...another chart topper.

His current single 'Girls I Date' has also hit number one on the Texas Charts as well.

Mike grew up in San Antonio surrounded by a family of music lovers. His Grandfather was a band director, he has two uncles that are band directors, and his father is in a bluegrass band, so he is just keeping with family tradition!

Some of Mike's musical influences besides his family include the Allman Brothers Band, The Eagles, Willie Nelson, and the Rolling Stones.
