Friday, July 17th 

Downtown Movie Night features 101 Dalmations (1961) in the parking lot across from the Cactus Hotel at 9 pm. Concessions are available, and you are encouraged to bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the free movie night.

Lunch & Learn Garden Seminar features Lawn Care information and the cost is only $5.00 per person. held at the Museum of Fine Arts at 9AM. Make reservations. 

Shannon Sporting Clay Shoot - Enjoy 3 Rotations, great food, raffles, gun boards, live auction, gun giveaways and more.

Saturday July 18th 

Concho Valley's Farmer's Market will begin at 7AM and will continue until they run out of goodies. It's held under the pavilion at 609 S. Oakes St. across from Fort Concho.

Cactus Market Days - Enjoy shopping for arts and crafts with numerous vendors on site as well as food vendors to take care of your appetite. It’s fun for the entire family. Everything is set up in the parking lot at 13 East Twohig across from the Cactus Hotel  between Tarpley Music and the Federal Building.

Lunch & Learn Garden Seminar features Allison Watkins with tips on fall Vegetable Gardening being held at the Museum of Fine Arts at 9AM. Cost for the seminar is $10 per person.

Joshua Fellowship Tamale Lunch at 1526 South Irving from 11AM until 2PM. Get a plate of delicious tamales with chili, beans, rice, and salad for $10. TOGO plates and delivery are available by calling 658-1061.

Helping Hands for Heroes Lunch at St. Joseph's Parish Hall in Rowena from 11AM til 2PM. Enjoy a pork steak meal for $10 per plate with to go plates available. There's a big raffle with $100 gift cards, a handmade quilt, a meat smoker, and more. Raffle tickets are $10 and available at the Runnels County Veterinary Clinic or at the event. Proceeds benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. For more information call 442-4211.
