Kirk Baxley is coming to Midnight Rodeo for the first time tonight and I encourage you to get out and enjoy the show...

Kirk has already made his mark with numerous accomplishments like being four time nominee for "Best Frontman and Vocal Performance" in the Dallas Observer and three nominations for "Best Frontman" in the Austin Chronicle.

Kirk is a soulful, genuine and honest performer with a refreshing sound. His new album is called 'The Pain We Bring' and is doing very well for him.

The current single from it is called 'Moving On' and it is moving up the Texas Music Radio Charts.

Kirk is also getting praise from some artist I'm sure you are familiar with such as Aaron Watson and Bri Bagwell. Check out what they had to say about Kirk Baxley below...

"It's refreshing to hear a singer that's actually a true artist. Kirk Baxley paints his own picture by pouring nothing but heart and soul into his songs. As a friend, I'm excited to see what the good Lord has in store for his career. This is some good stuff! Check it out!"
- Aaron Watson

"I expected this album to showcase the singer that Kirk is, but I was blown away by the range of tunes and the depth of songwriting on this record. It has everything on it from road-influenced heartache ("The Pain We Bring"), to one of my favorite tracks recorded as a duet ("Cold As A Stone"), to a beautiful eternal love song ("This Love Will Last"). It has country sounds of fiddle and steel guitar, with modern production perfect for Texas/Regional radio. The sound is reminiscent of Eli Young Band, with surefire radio hits like "Smalltown" and "If Only". Kirk's voice ranges from smooth and sweet, to gritty and full of the pain of which he is singing about. I can't wait to witness the success of the release."
- Bri Bagwell
