Koe Wetzel and Parker McCollum Set Off on ‘Naughty or Nice’ Tour

Texas may not survive this one.

Individually they are two of the hottest young acts in The Lone Star State, together they just might take it over. Koe Wetzel and Parker McCollum have announced their first-ever Naughty or Nice Tour for December.

McCollum is a member of the talented new crop of young Texas and Red Dirt artists that will soon be tasked with carrying on its legacy. The Austin-based singer/songwriter released his full-length debut album, The Limestone Kid, in ’15.

The album was among the strongest debut albums released in Texas in some time. The Austin Chronicle noting at its release “it’s too early to declare The Limestone Kid debut of the year, but it’s already one to beat.”

This year The Limestone Kid released the Probably Wrong Sessions, before combining the ambitious two-part project together and putting out the Probably Wrong album in November.

The underground swell of support Koe Wetzel has tapped into is amazing. With nearly no radio play, and absolutely no radio promotion to speak of, Koe Wetzel is selling out venues from Lubbock to College Station.

This is grassroots. And not the bullshit-make-believe-awschucks-kind, real grass roots. His album Noise Complaint, with help of fist pumping sing-along-songs including “Something to Talk About,” and an honest ode to late night drunken Taco Bell visits, “February 28, 2016,” is winning over fans across the Lone Star State.

Wetzel will be our in-studio guest on Radio Texas, LIVE! this weekend, tune in to find out details about his ’18 album, and we’ll debut a brand new song.
