I think that Wade Bowen is pretty excited for the 2015 Lone Star Jam, as you can see from the above post. The 2015 Lone Star Jam will be held on the LBJ Library Lawn on the University of Texas campus, on May 2nd and 3rd. And let me tell you, there is an utterly stacked lineup.

On Saturday, May 2nd, you'll get to see the Eli Young Band, Wade Bowen, Jack Ingram, Cory Morrow, William Clark Green, and then you'll be closing out Sunday, May 3rd, with the Turnpike Troubadours, Randy Rogers Band, Kevin Fowler, Whiskey Myers, and even more. The entire weekend will be filled with a ton of the best Texas & Red Dirt musicians in the business

You've got a couple options ticket-wise. First you can splurge and buy the VIP Front Row Experience. This gets you to the VIP tent and restrooms, a bag of swag, and access to the VIP bar. But, what makes it really worth it is the Exclusive meet and greets with the artists.

Then, of course, there are the General Admission Passes. Don't forget to know what you can and cannot bring on the grounds. ID, blankets, strollers, and sunscreen are acceptable. Chairs, backpacks, outside food/drinks, and umbrellas are not. Click here to see the full list. Be sure to bring a little extra cash for parking, but for the amazing Austin food they will be having: Blue Ribbon Barbeque, Boomerang's, Angry Eggroll, No Jo Concession, and a ton more.

The best thing about this Lone Star Jam, and one of the reasons I love going, is they this year they are benefiting Young Texans Against Cancer. This non-profit organization helps bring cancer awareness to the younger generation, 22 - 40 year olds.
