Mark McKinney Covers George Strait’s First Number One

In celebration of the release of George Strait's 'Strait Out of the Box Part 2', Mark McKinney paid tribute to King George with his rendition of a huge hit for Strait.

A number of Texas and Red Dirt artists have been sharing covers of their favorite Strait tracks and now Mark McKinney has his cover and he's even filmed a video. Mark chose to cover “Fool Hearted Memory” which was George's first number one hit back in 1982. Check out the video in the above YouTube link.

And oh by the way, Mark will be coming back to the Concho Valley in a couple of weeks. You can see him in concert at Blaine's Pub in downtown San Angelo on Friday, November 11th.
