I know it seems that I have been on a Mike Ryan kick lately but I find it hard not to acknowledge the hard work and effort that he has put forth in the scene and the outstanding results that we have recently seen from him.

Mike Ryan really set himself apart after winning the Pickin' Party with the Ranch, where he rose above 80 other bands to become the top and he hasn't stopped there. Mike has put the pedal to the metal and made radio tours as well as over 200 live shows a year pleasing fans one at a time.

Mike Ryan's first single out was a cover of an old Conway Twitty tune called "Slow Hand" that took the Texas Red Dirt Scene by storm and put Ryan in the spotlight. His second single "Wont Let It Show" that moved up the charts quickly and held steady.

Mike Ryan just release a brand new album called "Night Comes Falling" which includes his current single out to radio "The Cold One" which is a solid tune about love gone wrong. But the album does not fall short with any of the other tracks. If you are looking for an album that moves you in the direction of the Texas Music Scene then you need to own this album.
