This week is the one week out of the year that I am absolutely glued to the TV find out why if you couldn't tell why by the title.

OK I have to admit that I don't watch a lot of television except for one week out of the year and I go overboard and fill all of my dvr's completely up. Its a madness that has been on TV now for 25 years and for as long as I can remember I have always been fascinated by Shark Week on Discovery. I am not sure where the fascination came from or why I have this fascination about people who track, photograph, film, and study sharks but I do.

With that being said I had to do some major prep work on Saturday to prepare for Shark Week because everyone of my dvr boxes had to be totally cleared of any existing shows that were saved on there because shows about sharks destroying fake seals for research is way more important, I mean does anyone really care who the Bachelorette picked to marry and then in nine months split up with again? NO! Then I had to set all of the recordings on the channel to record the shows that I would miss in a day and then I had to set up a back up on the other two dvr boxes just in case technology fails. I mean it only comes once a year and I cant miss it. Needless to say my girlfriend was not the least bit impressed when I announced 2 hrs later that I had completed the task and was officially prepared for SHARK WEEK.

Follow along all week to find out my favorite parts of Shark Week and tell me about yours on here and it could be included in the times I talk about it on air.
