To buy or not to buy, that is the question for Texas Music fans when a new CD comes out. Read more about the two CD's that just dropped this week that you might want to check out!So its always a tough decision to make when it comes to buying new music and keeping up with when the full album comes out, so I will give you a little insight on what I have heard of two new albums out in stores.

First one is Pat Green's "Songs We Wish We'd Written II". This album is not the normal Pat Green album where he has wrote all or co wrote the songs on the album, this is a collection of songs that people like Todd Snider, Lyle Lovett, Walt Wilkins, and Joe Ely have written and made their own hits out of them. But Pat and his buddies gathered around the studio and played their favorites.  Its definitely a different feel than the normal Pat Green albums but definitely one for the collection!

The second album to check out is the new Turnpike Troubadours "Goodbye Normal Street". This album is definitely a mix between some rockin blues and Americana but we see the traditional sounds like the fiddle come thru at the right moments. The Oklahoma band has had great success in the past with the same type of music roots but this CD blew me out of the water. I have had this CD in my truck and playing for 3 days and counting now! A great add to your music collection! If you like the rockin Americana feel to your speakers then its a must have and you will enjoy it for days at a time!
