New Music Showdown: Cody Jinks and his Tonedeaf Hippies Vs Dirty River Boys
This week on the New Music Showdown one of the artist is actually playing at Blaine's Pub this week which makes it a little more fun. In one corner it's the Dirty River Boys and in the other, Cody Jinks and his Tonedeaf Hippies.
This week the New Music Showdown brings two unique groups to the ring, it should be interesting. Let's start off with Cody Jink and his Tonedeaf Hippies and their new tune, Glad To Say. This one is bound to be an instant hit here in the Concho Valley, it's a true country song and comes from the heart. Cody tells it how it is and in this song he surely does in this one with those powerful and unforgettable vocals. In the other corner it's the El Paso based Dirty River Boys with their tune Six Riders. This one puts me back in the old western days and a posse riding across the desert robbing trains and doing other posse stuff. Of course there is the unique sound of the Dirty River Boys and their trademark cajon rather than a full drum set. Both are phenomenal songs and it should be nail biter. Take a listen and cast your vote now!
