This week two great songwriters take center stage for the New Music Showdown.  Let's start with Mr. George Ducas.  George's resume is longer than most and has won the respect of so many in the industry.  His songs have been picked up by some names you may know such as Randy Rogers Band and Eli Young Band.  I would name off his radio releases but we don't have that long.  White Line And Road Signs is a great tune about being just a little lonely out there on the road missing that someone special.  Take a listen and cast your vote!

In the other corner we have the one and only Matt Caldwell who has been quickly emerging in the Texas Music scene.  He's been on tour with Troubadour TX alongside the likes of Josh Grider and Zane Williams.  His last radio release, What Cowboys Do, is still sitting top 50 on the charts after twenty weeks.  That says something right there.  The new song, I Know Mexico, is a fun song about spending time is Mexico with beautiful women and cold drinks.  Pretty much a summertime tune that'll make you want to lounge on the beach with a cold beer in your hand.  Check out the song and let me know what you think.  Enjoy!
