New Music Showdown – The Departed Vs JB and the Moonshine Band

The New Music Showdown this week brings two of the Concho Valley's top notch favorites.  The Departed and JB and the Moonshine Band go mono e mono, only you can decide who is victorious.

This week we have two different and very talented bands for the New Music Showdown with JB and the Moonshine Band going against The Departed.  We know the hard rockin' sounds of The Departed and front man Cody Canada but this song features Seth James taking the lead vocals.  Prayer For The Lonely is kind of a funky tune with a lot of B3 and makes you just kind of move around.  It's a pretty cool tune but I expect nothing less from The Departed.  In the other corner we have JB and the Moonshine Band with their new tune, The Only Drug.  This is another great love song about that someone that you can't go without.  While two different styles of songs the amount of talent and effort put in to making these final products make for a heck of a competition.  Take a listen below and cast your vote.  Enjoy!
