Original BBQ Sauce Returns to Chick-Fil-A

As you probably know, we have a lot of fans who love their Chick-fil-a in San Angelo. A new location is being built right now. Well, after months of protests and messages on social media, Chick-fil-a has decided to bring back their famous original BBQ sauce.

Chick-fil-A made a decision back in July to go with a new BBQ sauce and discontinued the original recipe for a new “smokehouse barbecue sauce” instead. They also switched out their original buffalo sauce for one called “zesty buffalo sauce.” But, it was the BBQ sauce change that started the trouble.

This isn’t the first time Chick-fil-A has made pretty significant changes to their menu. Just this year, fans of their coleslaw and spicy chicken biscuit attempted to get the restaurant to add them back on the menu. Chick-fil-A claims that these particular items slow down the order line significantly and have no plans to bring them back.

Just so you know, the original BBQ sauce will return to stores on Nov. 7. Chick-fil-A says they even plan to send those involved with the protest an entire bottle of the signature sauce.
