Police Games are Coming to San Angelo

San Angelo has not hosted the Police Games since 1984. I visited with Officer Zac Upton on the 'Kickin' Wake-Up Call' today and we talked about the games which are being held Sunday, June 12th through Saturday, June 18th.......

Officer Upton explained how San Angelo was able to get the games to come here.

He also talked about how many events will be taking place next week all over San Angelo, and expressed the need for volunteers.

San Angelo is expecting a thousand or more officers from 9 states to participate in the games. Many will bring their families for some vacation time....so this will also be a nice boost to the local economy.
