Rainfall Moves County Commissioners To Lift Burn Ban

On February 12th County Commissioners voted to lift the recently enacted burn ban.

Due to rain fall and increased moisture on the ground the County Commissioners voted to lift the burn ban. But Fire Marshal Ross Coleman says that "property owners still remain cautious and utilize all safety measures when conducting burning activities outdoors." Even though the burn ban has been lifted outdoor burning in the city limits is still prohibited.
