River Fest 2016 was a Huge Success

After two days of activities over the past weekend and a great concert on Saturday night, I think we can safely say our Townsquare Media/Stripes River Fest was a tremendous success!

Kickin' Country 103.1 was there broadcasting live from the River Stage and presenting these three great bands on Saturday night.

We started the live music with a fairly new artist who has already gained a lot of popularity in just a few short years. His name is Parker McCollum and a lot of fans were there early on to see him perform. I've gotta say...Parker is a chick magnet! The girls love him, but then so do the guys! He has a great band and a bright future ahead of him. His current hit is called 'All Day'.

Kyle Park was up next. He has been on the scene for years, having recorded 6 successful studio albums and headlines many shows across the country. Friday night he played the legendary Floore's Country Store in Helotes, Tx. with Pat Green but during our interview Kyle said "You know...that was just the preliminary warm-up for his show in San Angelo". Kyle loves San Angelo and San Angelo loves him! His current single is 'Rednecks With Paychecks'. The fun video for that song was just recently released. Look it up and check it out.

That brings us to the The Randy Rogers Band who headlined the show. These guys are pretty much the undisputed Kings of the Texas Country Music Scene and have been for a long time. They played to a capacity crowd (as they always do) and those fans were singing along to every song. The band was incredible and everyone was loving it! Their current single which has been a huge hit for them is called 'San Antone'!

The crowd was awesome and having so much fun. In light of such a fantastic turnout, I'm sure promoters are already working on the next big show. I will be anxious to see who's coming next!
