San Angelo Police Department – Update

From time to time Officer Zack Upton with the San Angelo Police Department drops by on the Kickin' Wake-Up Call to bring us up to date with our Police Department and also to fill us in on various concerns we should be aware of in our community, along with safety tips and such.

I visited with Officer Upton this morning and we talked about the recent recruitment drive for new officers, the number of applicants, how initial testing has been going, and more. He also talked about the department looking out of market to recruit new officers completing police academies in other parts of Texas.

He then gave us some great tips on taking care of our belongings and little things that we can do to protect our property and insure that  you do not become a victim of theft simply by taking a few precautions.
