Kevin Fowler takes the stage at Midnight Rodeo San Angelo, show starts around 10 pm and the doors open at 8pm. Make plans to get there early because this is a rockin show that everyone is talking about. If you have never been to a Fowler concert you are missing the experience of a lifetime. The ex-rock-and-roller turned honky tonk will keep you on your feet two stepping and spinning the night away on the dance floor. Fowler's shows are jam packed with beer drinking' fun and crowd sing along to your favorite tunes like "Fat Bottomed Girls"! Yes that's a remake of the old Queen song.

If you are looking to support a local down home Texas boy then get over to Blaines Pub tonight for The Zac Edwards Band. The Big Lake native comes to San Angelo and brings all his classic hits from the "Cowboy Crew" album like "Big Lake" plus some new music from the "Lonestar" album. Edwards feels right at home on the Blaines Pub stage and brings down home country shows with edge to Blaines Pub Friday night.

Saturday night at Blaine's Pub we are invaded by the boys from Stephenville. The boys from Six Market Blvd. are ready to "get throwed off like a hubcap" and rock out the Blaines Pub stage. Their first album "Running On Seven" was a great success for a first album, but stand back and order up your copy of "Shake It Down" due to release May 22nd! These guys are standing smack dab in the middle of the intersection of Texas Red Dirt and Rock and Roll. Expect a high energy show with a party atmosphere that will have you asking what happened the next morning.

If you want to catch an early show with a different swing to it you can catch The Damn Quails at Stillwater Bar and Grill, the show starts at 7. Opening the show is Judson Cole and the Descendants and then get ready for The Damn Quails. You couldn't ask for a better atmosphere than by the lake with your friends around the stage at Stillwater Bar and Grill listening to the Americana roots overlaid with some Texas Red Dirt to bring a unique and eclectic sound to The Damn Quails. You have probably heard their first radio single "Fools Gold"  off of their album "Down The Hatch" that made waves in the Texas Music scene from the day it was released. Plus you can enjoy some great food and your favorite beverage while you are at the show, I recommend the fried macaroni and cheese bites. DELICIOUS!

Help spread the love of Texas Music by getting out to one of these local venues and supporting these artist. Take pictures and submit them to this post and we will pick the best ones to put on our website!
