San Angelo Weekly Events 10/05/15 – 10/11/15

There are a lot of activities and events to enjoy once again this week, especially as our weather finally starts to cool down. National Night Out is this Tuesday, their is a fundraiser for a great cause that will help your health at the same time, a free music concert Thursday, Great buys for kids this week, a play for kids, a Motorcycle/Classic Car Poker Run, and a lot more.

The 32nd Annual National Night Out against Crime is this Tuesday, October 6th from 5 pm - 8 pm. Residents are asked to turn on their porch light, and spend the evening outside with friends, neighbors, police, EMS, and fire fighters throughout your community.

Help Meals for the Elderly with Angelo Back & Rehab during Patient Appreciation Week. This Wednesday, October 7th, all current patients receive adjustments for just $20.00 cash or $20.00 worth of macaroni & cheese. New patients will receive x-rays, an exam and more for the same donation all week long. Call to make your appointment at 949-1600 and help Meals for the Elderly while helping your health at the same time.

Every 2nd Thursday of the month, the Chicken Farm Art Center hosts a free concert in the yard. Bring a lawn chair and your cooler this Thursday, October 8th, find a nice shady spot and listen to some fantastic music. The Chicken Farm is located at 2505 Martin Luther King. The JBF 'Just Between Friends Sale' to benefit Rust Street Ministries is being held at the Coliseum beginning with pre-sale this Wednesday, Oct. 7th and continuing through Saturday, Oct. 10th. The 4th annual West Texas Down Syndrome Association's 'Buddy Walk' is being held at Kirby Park this Saturday, October 10th featuring music, food, Kid's activities, a raffle, and a petting zoo. Visit buddywalk.org to register and get more information.

Angelo Civic Theatre presents 'Cowboys for Kids' this Saturday, Oct 10th. Enjoy music and stories from Top Cowboy Singers, Songwriters & Story Tellers, Chuckwagon Grub, Auctions, and more to benefit the Tom Green County 4-H Program. Get yor tickets by calling 949-4400.

The San Angelo Police Motorcycle & Classic Car Poker Run is this Saturday, Oct. 10th at Family Power Sports. If you have a motorcycle or classic car, you're invited to enter for $25.00 per person. Enjoy a delicious lunch for your generous donation. Prizes will be awarded for 1st through 3rd places. Donations benefit the Texas Police Games and Motorcycle Rodeo Event in honor of Sgt.
