Christmas At Old Fort Concho is this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with a wonderful weekend of fun in store for you, your family and friends. There is so much to see with living history camps, the Lion's Club Pancake Breakfast With Santa, Live entertainment, children's events, merchants and artisans, military drills, vintage baseball, foods, a cowboy breakfast, and so much more spread over three days at the Fort. 3rd Annual Cowboy Christmas Dance is this Thursday, December 3rd at 7:30 at the Fort Concho Stables. The San Angelo Cultural Affairs and Fort Concho National Historic Landmark are partnering to present  country music artist Weldon Henson in concert. The Christmas at Old Fort Concho Frontier Christmas Ball will be this Saturday from 7-9 pm at the Stables. Enjoy 1880's music from the 19th Regimental String Band from Florida along with refreshments and dancing. Tickets are available at the Fort's Visitor Center or by calling 657-4441.

San Angelo Tourism - San Angelo Convention and Visitors Bureau present the 2015 Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony this Saturday at 5:15 pm at the intersection of Concho & Chadbourne. The annual Lighted Christmas Parade will follow at 6 pm Downtown San Angelo. The Parade will be followed by the beginning of this years 'Tour of Lights' along the Concho River.

Beginning this Saturday, December 5th, and continuing through December 31st, you can drive the 2.5 miles along the banks of the Concho River through the “Tour of Lights.” Featured are over 3 million lights in a number of holiday displays. The tour is open Fridays & Saturdays 6 pm to midnight. Sundays through Thursdays, 6 pm to 10 pm. Tour begins on 1st Street & Abe (just north of the Post Office) A Donation of $5 per vehicle may be made at start of tour.

This Sunday the San Angelo Bicycle Association invites you to Ride with Santa through the Christmas Lights on the Concho River. Meet in the Central High School tennis courts parking lot, 700 block of Veteran's Memorial Dr., beginning at 4:30 and ride from Dusk until 6:15 pm. Helmets required.

The Holiday Celebration Chili Cook-offs will be at the Saddle Bronc Bar, 204 E. Ave. L this Saturday and Sunday. Along with chili & bean competitions there will be hay rides, raffles, pot luck supper and more to benefit local charities. for more information call 650-1854 or go to casichili.net.

Santa's Santa Fe Christmas 2015 is underway through December 26th & January 2nd. Enjoy it every Friday and Saturday, 6 PM – 9 PM. There will be live music, children’s activities, and beautiful holiday decorations throughout the Depot. Jolly Ole St. Nick will also be on hand to celebrate this special time of year. Santa will be there every Friday and Saturday through the 19th of December. Admission 12 years and up $5, 4 to 11 years old $3 under 4 free, 10% discount to military and age 65 and up.

Olivia Lane returns to Midnight Rodeo on Saturday for her 2nd Toys For Tots Benefit Show. Admission is $5.00 or a new unwrapped toy. Enjoy a great night of music while helping Toys for Tots!

The Wine, Wags, and Whiskers Fundraiser benefiting Critter Shack Rescue & Cassie's Place will be at In Vino Veritas, 2007 Knickerbocker this Saturday from Noon til 3. December 5th marks another 1st Saturday at the Old Chicken Farm Art Center, a monthly celebration of art, music and community. The event includes artist & vendors with handmade works and gifts, a live music circle hosted by the Chicken Pickers, great food, and free clay art experiments for kids to participate in. The San Angelo Crafts Guild is having their Holiday Crafts Show this Saturday from 9 til 5 and Sunday from Noon til 4 at the Wells Fargo Pavilion. Admission is free and there are prize drawings every hour. If you bring canned goods to benefit Meals for the Elderly, you'll get extra prize tickets.
