This Saturday, Jul 30th is Hobo Day at the Depot from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Join in the fun and rich heritage of the American Hobo. Events during the day will include "Hobo Stew" and a Costume Contest at 2 pm. Enjoy the hot enough to fry an egg on the track competition! The Depot will celebrate Hobos and the hot days of summer with a competition at 3 pm where guests (ages 1-5 and 6-12) will receive an egg with their admission and are encouraged to "fry" the egg on the rail. Prizes will be awarded to all of the Winners.

ASU's Modular Theatre presents: "Things my Mother Taught Me" this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, July 28th-30th. Enjoy a brand new romantic comedy that's funny and touching. This one will make you laugh out loud and fall in love all over again.

The United Women's Ministry is having a free breakfast on Saturday, July 30th from 7-11 am at 1713 Parker. It's free to the homeless, and everyone is welcome to stop by for breakfast. Donations of any amount are appreciated. For more information, call Mary at 650-9124.

The Summer Kids World program is free and continues at Sunset Mall every Tuesday from 1-3 pm through August 9th. Events are being held inside the Community Room located next to Sears. For more information and a complete schedule go to sunsetmall.com or call 325-949-1947.

If you're in search of fresh fruits, vegetables and plants, remember that the Concho Valley Farmers Market is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays starting at 7 am under the pavilion at 609 S. Oakes St. across from Fort Concho.

This Wednesday, July 27th, Lifepoint Baptist Church offers you and your family a free Movie - Zootopia starting at 7 pm! Bring your own chairs and enjoy cotton candy, popcorn and snow cones. Lifepoint Baptist Church is located at 810 Austin Street. For more information, call 325-655-9319.

Every Thursday you are invited to enjoy Art Thursdays in the San Angelo Museum of Fine Art Education Studio! They always feature clay and watercolor, and every three weeks there are two new art projects to try. Visitors are welcome to drop in anytime between 3 and 6 p.m. Please allow at least 30 minutes to try all projects.

Everyone is invited to enjoy the 11th Annual Music in the Park this Sunday, July 31st from 6 - 9 pm at Santa Rita Park. It promises to be a lot of fun with bands, books, hot dogs and Jimmie Rose and The All-Stars performing live. It's sponsored by the Adult Literacy Council of The Concho Valley.
