The Miles United Methodist Church's Annual Sausage Festival is this Sunday, Oct. 2nd from 11-1:30 at Weatherby Hall. Enjoy award winning sausage, Bavarian Sauerkraut, Austrian Cole Slaw, tea, and special home made desserts for $9 per person with to go plates available and cooked or raw sausage for sale too.

The Fort Concho VFW will hold their 'Anything & Everything' Flea Market this Saturday, Oct. 1st from 8-4 at 125 S. Browning Street. You will find appliances, furniture, and much more for sale. The Park Plaza Nursing & Rehab Center will have their Fall Festival this Saturday, Oct. 1st at 2210 Howard Street. Enjoy food & game booths, a silent auction, door prizes, a classic car show, petting zoo, and much more from 11-3. Everyone is invited to stop by for this fun event.

October 1st brings you another 1st Saturday of fun at the Old Chicken Farm Art Center, a monthly celebration of art, music and community from 10 am-5 pm. Events include artist vendors with handmade works and art, a live music circle hosted by the Chicken Pickers, great food, and free clay art experiments for kids to participate in. ASU's Planetarium offers you some wonderful shows every Thursday at 7:00 PM. This Thursday the 29th enjoy Solar Superstorms at 7 pm and Lewis & Clark: Great Journey West at 8.
