San Angelo’s Live Music Rundown (4/14 – 4/19)
Chuck Baker and myself love to keep you up on what is happening from week to week at our live music venues in the Concho Valley. Watch our video (above) of ‘Kickin’ It Around’ with Chuck and Chris with this week's great live music scene.
It’s another great week of bands and artist as we approach the end of the week and the weekend. Things will kick off this Thursday as Kickin’ Country broadcasts live from the House of FiFi Dubois with our weekly ‘Throw Back Thursday’ party. Make sure you join Chuck at 5:30.
Chuck will be back out later that night at Midnight Rodeo for the Cody Johnson concert. CoJo and the Rockin' CJB are back in Angelo and Chuck will be broadcasting on the scene at the concert starting at 9 pm.
Also Thursday, Blaine's Pub is kicking off their summer music series with Drew Kennedy. Drew's a big Philadelphia Phillies fan, so talk some trash about his Phils to him if you get the chance. And they'll have free food at Blaine's for the concert.
Friday presents several choices for live music. Jon Wolfe will be at Midnight Rodeo. We'll be updating you on the show later this week, so keep checking our web page. Also Friday, Jason Eady is playing Blaine’s Pub. Jason is a stellar songwriter, so you don't want to miss this show. Another Friday night show finds Prophets and Outlaws at the House of FiFi Dubois.
More great shows await you on Saturday with the always popular Kyle Park at Midnight Rodeo, and Mark McKinney playing Blaine’s Pub.
And there's a big benefit on Sunday at Blaine's with Mark McKinney, Mark David Manders and Bri Bagwell.
