Watch for San Angelo firefighters at major intersections over the next few days during their annual Fill the Boot fundraising campaign for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. You'll find them at 29th Street and North Bryant Boulevard, Abe and Harris streets,
Johnson Street and Knickerbocker Road, and Sherwood Way and Avenue N as they
collect funds from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Be sure to give to this great cause!

Shannon Medical Center invites everyone to participate in the Eleventh Annual Shannon Pink Ribbon Run this Saturday, Oct. 6 with registration beginning at 7 a.m. at Shannon Women’s and Children’s Hospital, 201 E. The Concho Valley Farmers Market is open for business every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday offering fresh Fruits, vegetables and plants from 7 a.m. until they sell out (usually by noon). This Saturday, the 21st the Market is having a Melon Fest featuring cantaloupes plus red and yellow meat watermelons from 7 a.m. until noon.
