There are a lot of events and activities to enjoy this week in the Concho Valley. Townsquare's Toys for Tots Drive is Thursday, we'll tell you where to get your Halloween pumpkin, there is a Jazz night of fun, a 5K/1 Mi. run & walk, a cultural Festival, A chili cookoff, Roping Fiesta is this weekend and more!

The Townsquare Toys For Tots Drive will be this Thursday, Oct. 22nd from 3-7 pm in our parking lot at 1301 South Abe, across from Denny's. Marines will be taking your generous donations to help make sure that all the kids in the Concho Valley have new toys for Christmas. Just look for the Marines who will be collecting your donations.

The Great Pumpkin Patch is open through Halloween at the Sierra Vista United Methodist Church from 9-9 each day. There are thousands of pumpkins in all sizes for sale along with gourds, Indian corn and corn stalks. Call Tina at 944-4041 or just stop by at 4522 College Hills and check it out.

The 3rd Annual Jazz in the Lumberyard will be at the City Lumber & Wholesale Yard this Saturday, October 24th from 6-10 pm. Enjoy an art auction, delicious Cajun Dinner and great Jazz Music. The City Fit 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk will be at Unidad Park at 6 pm this Thursday, Oct. 22nd. Registration begins at 4 pm and entry fee is $20 per person. Preregister and get a guaranteed t-shirt at getmeregistered.com\cityfit5k.

The Asian American Cultural Festival will be at the Paseo this Saturday, Oct. 24th from 10-5. Admission is free and you can enjoy food, silent auctions, raffles, kids games, crafts, dance performances, martial arts demonstrations and more. Call Kathryn at 947-1369 for more information.

This Thursday, October 22nd, you're invited to join the Boys & Girls Club of San Angelo as they celebrate 50 years of service from 6:30-9 pm at the Cactus Hotel. Enjoy a dinner, silent auction & live music by Jennifer B and The Groove. San Angelo's Cinch Roping Fiesta 2015 is this Friday thru Sunday, October 23-25. This is the longest running roping event of its kind. Droves of ropers and roping enthusiasts will pile into San Angelo for Fiesta weekend. There is a variety of calf roping, a match roping, steer roping and double mugging plus plenty of shopping with the 'Cowboy Collectible Show'. Saturday night features a big dance with the always popular Texas artist Roger Creager on stage. Don't miss the fun!

The Fall Festival Chili Cookoffs will be this Saturday & Sunday, Oct. 24th & 25th at the Concho Pearl RV Estates, 5193 Armstrong.
